Well that was a long first boil (19 Hours)...LOL! I learned a few things to make it go quicker though!

But the taste was worth it 200%! :D

Here's the finished product...now I need SLEEEP!!! :shock:

Congrats. It's my first year too. I had some from my first batch this morning on some pancakes and it was yummy. hopefully I'll have my forth boil this week.

Looks good bud! Congrats on you're first batch. Looks way better than mine. I'm not sure if my first batch was even "syrup". This is my second year. I'm currently in the process of expanding for next year as well as perfecting my product. Good luck!

Yep! I have had alot of firsts in my life and I remember them ALL!:cool: So True!

Actually... You taste your First Syrup twice...

1. While making it and licking everything that drops:mrgreen:

2. On Pancakes for breakfast which I haven't done yet!!!:o

Looks great! I had my first syrup this morning on Belgian waffles from my new waffle iron. A Double First! I don't know which made which beter?

Sweet..... First year here also on my own. I remember doing it as a kid on the family farm but it been years and years annnnd years... Im hooked already looking for a bigger rig next year....lol.....
