Is anyone here using one of these pumps? We are installing one and are feeding it with a 40 Gallon feed tank/separator that can generate as much as 4 psi of head. We have a smaller liquid ring pump that we have used for a couple years and are hoping to share the same plumbing with the Travaini. The smaller pump is presently plumbed so the discharge air and water return to our feed tank which can overflow to a drain above a certain level. We feed the tank with filtered spring water to keep the temp of the cooling liquid low. There is a valve on the pump water inlet to control flow.
Will this same plumbing scenario work for the Travaini? We are planning to plumb the cooling water to the factory inlet on the lower left side of the pump with a pressure gauge and drain valve. Is it ok with these pumps to have the discharge air /water flow up to the tank or will this flood the pump?
Any advice is welcome.
