how much fuel oil does an oil fired evap. need to make syrup, is there a rule of thumb, for gallons of syrup to gallos of fuel?

Lapierre has a chart in their catalog that shows this based on the sugar content of the sap. They say 4 gallons at 2% and 1 gallon at 8%.

If you have a rig with a steam away and your boiling 20% sap then it could be as low as 1/3 a gallon of fuel to one gallon of syrup. Everyones set up is different and there is to many variations to give you a set number.
