second boil of the season

i boiled for the second time yesterday, with some good results i made 9 gal of nice vermont fancy syrup, the first boil of the season i had made a couple gallons and it was between vermont fancy and grade A medium so im happy with my new new to me 3x8 water/loo small evaporator, hoping to boil again thursday hope we get a good run in the next couple days

Found someone to boil sap while I'm waiting for the new rig. Gathered 650 gallons of sap on about 350 buckets. I still need to collect sap from tanks for the 180 taps on gravity lines. Got the four wheeler buried last night and had to get the tractor to pull it out. Looking forward to maybe losing some weight with all this exercise! Glad things are rolling along for you!
