How many com do I need on a vacuum for 600the taps?
We're new to maple tapping.

The standard rule has been 1 cfm per 100 taps. However, if you're going to have a lot of low grade mainline and / or sap ladders shoot for 2 to 3 cfm per hundred. Keep in mind any expansion plans too, it's easier to just get a bigger pump first than to have to upgrade in a couple years.

Thanks for the info. Im working with some amish so I need somethng I can power with a gas engine.

Both of my pumps are gas. Just remove the elec. and mount the right size gas. I use a 4.5 gal tank to run long times. I bought them from Surplus Center @ $18.99 ea + frt. (online)
