grade A fancy for the first time!!

Just drew off my first gallon of the year and to top it off it came out grade A fancy ! What a difference the new evaporator made.

I too am getting very light syrup eventhough I boil deep and long! It seems to be a bit sweeter than I like, so I might just start keeping the light stuff unfiltered untill later when the syrup gets darker and just mix it back in and boil it with new sap!
