You can build a dog house around it and put a light in it. But you still need to shut it down when the temps drop. Keith

I found with my Bender I have to really watch it when the temps get about 34 degrees.
It is even worse when it is raining or snowing at those temps.
You can hear that vac hiss around the black top cap, this vac leak causes the air to speed up thru the top of the Bneder and even a good distance in the line feeding vac to the Bender. This fast moving air will cause it to ice up even though it isn't at or below freezing.
One day whe it had rained earlier in the day but then the temps dropped I had about 2' of line feeding vac to it had about 3/4" of ice completely around it. Still was working but it was time to shut it down for the night. I found if I run it till it freezes completely up it just takes longer in the morning to thaw out so I can start it back up.

It sounds like you need to build a insulated small shed for the releaser and collection tank. Up in Canada I notice a lot of producers keep there setups inside.

Thanks Dennis I shut it off last night and started it up this morning but last night when it was frozen I banged the ice out and it then went on to dump like 10 gallons as fast as it could it was pretty cool

Post a photo of your setup I still have a couple of weeks before I have to hook mine up.
You can see my vacuum pump umder my photos but have not setup the releaser yet. Next week I will as I am off then for 6 weeks to sryup.
I just picked up another 1550 gast of e-bay for 95.00. Figured I better have a spare.

It is icing up because you are getting air leaks. This is true with all releasers--they will ice at 34 degrees, if you have the smallest leak.
