I would die to have an RO right now! I'm getting lots of sap but I think somebody is filling my tanks with tap water!! I'm only getting a little over 1% sugar content which in turn means I am boiling forever with no results! I boiled yesterday from 9 am till 11 pm went through at least 700 gal of sap and got 5 gal of syrup. Which brings me to 10 total gallon in 3 days of boiling! And it's very dark!

Pamaple- My sugar content is only running 1.1. Seems to be the normal for our area this year.

My cousin in Markelton Bought an Ro this year too. His sap was coming in around 1% too. Mike L said all you in the Markelton area were getting a low sugar content.

I had the same thing , about 1.3 % and the syrup is grade b dark. Taste is very good but a kick in the pants if you like light syrup :o
