I have about 40 taps on short runs of 6-10 per run and want to know if I can do anything other than a 5% grade in the run to improve the flow & yield. New to tubing and can't find much re: this topic. All the runs are on fairly level land.
Rest of our taps are buckets.
Thanks you

Are the short runs just 5/16 or do they tie into a mainline?
If you have them tied into a mainline then about all you can do to increase the flow is add vacuum but not really practical for just 40 taps. The other thing you can try is to keep the bacteria down at the tap hole either by using the removable spouts so that you can sterilize them or spray them in the woods before tapping.

They are all individual runs & I was not sure if there was anything else I could do other than gravity to improve the yield / flow for such a small setup.
Thanks,

Pray for better weather!

Sounds like you've done all you can to maximize your yield. The rest is up to Mother Nature!
