Help with used GB single?

Picked up a used GB single releaser. Looking for help on some missing/broken connections. Notice the broken connector in the middle of the tee? I assume a hose connects to it and goes somewhere? Any ideas? Thanks!

we have one like that at school. I think its for a hose that connects around just above the float rod, and it switches the piston inside so that the releaser can dump. the broken fitting should be easy to get out and replace, and uses 5/16 tubing to connect.
