Put in about 25 taps yesterday and another ten today. Some were really running.

Sap house is tidied up, I split a bit more wood and now I'm just waiting on the trees.

Not much happening so far. Some trees are giving a decent amount, but nothing like what I saw last year. Hoping today's warmer weather and sunshine will get things flowing.

Collected about 50 gallons this evening. Great disparity between some of the trees and some of the taps on the same tree. Some with 2" of sap and the other overflowing - on the same tree. We'll see what tomorrow brings,,...

Great flow today. Looked at some of the buckets this morning when I walked the dog and they were 30-40% full at 6AM. Drove by on my way to work and I swear they'd filled another 20% by 7AM.

Collected about 60 gallons from my taps and may need to get another barrel or too if it flows as well tomorrow.
