tapped in brooklyn

got all the trees tapped mon and tues. set the tanks wed afternoon. i picked up 300 gal yesterday morning an made about 3 gals. of syrup, so far a good start,

so far i boiled 600 gals and the sugar content went down to about 1.5. made 8 gals to 9 gals of med and the 2 of dark. not to bad of start i tapped last monday. hopefully with the cold snap coming this weekend ill more to boil early next week.
