I've always borrowed a bucket washer up til now, but I want to build my own before next season.

THe one I borrow is homemade and I can copy it without much trouble, except for the brushes. Instead of that insanely expensive bucket brush, this one has a small brush mounted crossways to do the bottom of the buckets, with 2 - 12" long brushes mounted lengthways on each side to do the sides, THey go in and out on a spring arrangement to adjust for different buckets.

Since I (or more accurately, my wife) need to wash both metal buckets and plastic ones, THat arrangement makes sense. (I may end up with 2 sets of brushes for the huge difference in size)

My question is - Where can I get LONG scrub brushes? I've haunted eBay, and checked Home Depot and Lowes, Hardware stores, Grainger and McMaster-Carr with no luck. Any other ideas?

Try doing a search on the internet.

Maybe a company that supplies the dairy industry?

Beer & Wine making shops have them for scrubbing the bottom of glass carboys.

Thanks for the tip on D&G for brushes. I'll have to check if my local dealer can get them. I've tried to download their catalog several times (Last time was just a few minutes ago), but it stalls and I can't get it to restart.

I refuse to pay $80 for a darn brush from Leader!

ibby....the D&G catalog stalls on my computer too...but I found that if I went and made a cup of coffee...thereby giving it a few minutes....it did its thing and downloaded.

I've waited as long as an hour for it to download. Our phone line is buried under miles of swampy land, and I think random static interferes with long downloads. I've given up on them.

I will ask my dealer to check, though. He probably has a hard copy.

Nice Pictures, by the way!

This file is almost 14 Mb so it will take and insanely long time to download with a phone like, especially a rural phone line.

Good luck.
