i'm 14 years old... to start this off.. so i need a little help!

i'm right on the norwich/thetford line... has anyone been tapping around here yet?

I'm a ways north of there but if you're on vacuum it's never too early to start tapping. I'm on the Canadian border and finished tapping last friday. If you're on a gravity tubing system or hanging buckets I'd say wait till it looks like a good stretch of "sugar weather" coming...don't want your tap holes drying out on you before the season is over!

I live in thetford but tap in west Fairlee and have not put out my buckets yet

Did two test buckets in Lyndon, and was surprised when western facing bush was running at 2:00 p.m. Temperature was 29 deg. Plan on putting half of buckets(70-80) out tommorow. Still too cold to put buckets out in Sutton.

Put out 50 buckets this afternoon. My southeast facing slopes on the road and field edges mainly, running steady at 4:00. Im in Bradford on the West Newbury line. Looks like a freeze tomorrow then game on. I think I will give those the week then hang my other buckets that live in the shadows.

alright, i tapped all 350*/- with the help of my uncle/family friend... ran today and we will hopefully boil thursday!
