Here in Mass we had a very weird winter, NO Snow and very little rain. Will this effect the sap flow? I have noticed that the trees that I have been taping for a few year are not moving so much this year. What do you think?

Still very low sap totals. 75 Gal today. But the sugar level is up about 2 - 2 1/2% this is the best for me.

we are in the same boat. not nearly enough sap coming out of our lines. 170 taps, and only collecting 40-50 gallons/day. but we have a consistent 2% on our blend of reds and sugars.

Still betterthan me. 120 taps and only 25 gallons of sap to show for it. this is the week coming up for me to start getting serious sap I think

It's still early, normally most seasons start now or a little later. Anything that you get now is a bonus. The real season is just starting.
