Tapped a couple of test trees on Monday. Today the sap was flowing enough to start boiling. I will likely tap the remaining trees this weekend although still concerned about it being two early. Glad to see the season start as my son's Cub Scout den is coming over Saturday to learn about tapping and the process. Here's to a good season. My seven year old son is really into it and he just completed his own barrel evaparator yesterday and is already looking for his own sugar shack. Good timing I guess.
