Our new employee got some training on how to tap this weekend. She was ok as long as daddy didn't clothesline her while ducking under mainlines! (It only happend twice!) So far we have about 500 taps in and hope to have the other 400 in this weekend.

I think I am holding off until the 25th to tap my 800. It is still winter up above the Notch and what little bit of warm weather we do get I am thinking the sap is going to be below 2%.

Funny. Has she learned to duck now? You know how those weman are, your back is to her and she may learn how to slap you behind your head early. Or her mother will for her.
