I have a stainless steam tray that has a extremely small pinhole in it. What's the easiest way to repair this? I found it at the scrap yard so I didn't want to spend a lot fixing it. I can still use it as the hole is very small and I'm only using it to preheat the sap but it would be nice to eliminate the leak.

Use Lead free silver solder...

A few more tips for soldering stainless:
Sand the area around the pinhole absolute clean
Use a liquid soldering flux. I use Harris Stay-clean.
If you are going to use a propane torch, use the smallest flame you can.
Keep the flame moving, you don't want any of the stainless to get too hot, just enough to melt/wet with solder.
