I'm setting up new [used] pans for my 2 x 6 arch, 2 x 4 flue pan, and 2 x 2 ss syrup that I bought with no dividers. Any thoughts on either 2 or 3 sections? thanks

i would go with 4 so u can reverse flow to prolong cleaning without turning the pan.

I have a 2x6, 2x4 flue pan with 2x2 syrup pan with 3 dividers, wish i had 4 channels, my draw off is at the front of the evap. and i have hard time getting syrup to finish on the very front, always seems to be boiling harder at back of syrup pan, so with 4 channels you would draw off back of syrup pan, as well as reversing would be easier as i have to pull my syrup pan off and turn around.

slb - I would go with two dividers and three sections ---It will give the syrup an extra pass and also the sections will be 8" wide and still allow for fairly easy cleaning. ---Mike--

Well Buddy - reading all the posts on Your Question. You sure don't have to worry about one divider and two sections. Guess You will - smile - now have to decide between 3 or 4 sections..........

3 for sure.

sorry buddy, I meant 3 dividers for 4 compartments. depending on your setup you would want to be able to reverse flow.
