well, it may be official but yesterday I had block ice in my buckets in Haverhill
gonna take two days just for my tubing to thaw out
I have the same problem. The tubes melted out today, but containers are still solid ice. At least we don't have to worry about the sap spoiling.

Did you notice sap running even though it was going to a frozen bucket? I had little to no sap today.

I actually noticed a bit of sapflow yesterday. I thought everything would still be mostly frozen so I was surpised when I went to collect the frozen sap blocks that a few of my taps were dripping a bit.
I'll probably be doing my second boil on thursday and friday. It will probably be a two day affair since I have school until noon on thursday, but thankfully no work until friday evening.

are the coming warmer temps (especially at night) a good thing or bad thing?

warm temps at night are bad, we need below freezing and not just 30-31 degrees for a few hours.
