My son and I are thinking that tapping this Sunday looks the best for our area. The 15 day forecast after Sunday looks real good for sap flow. It's going to be a strange year. Wait too long and you'll be making buddy. Been there done that once.

i have been tapping the last 2 days and the sap was running some ,looks like a cold weekend though,but got to get ready

we hung 50 buckets this afternoon and another 50 tomorow....had a few drips but not much, had the time so get it done...nice to be in the woods

Nothing hardly flowing. Maybe a quart or 2 in each bucket after a week. From Tuesday through Friday it's suppose to be above freezing day and night so we'll see what that does.

im in Lake George and havent had very much ive been tapped in for 3 days

we are in southern herkimer county at 1400' above sea level.....been tapped since feb. 10 and hardly a drop of sap... it'll come I hope
