This year my spouts and tubing is brand new if I tap with vacuum now will sap continue to run in late march or should I wait thanks oh by the way no cvs

This year my spouts and tubing is brand new if I tap with vacuum now will sap continue to run in late march or should I wait thanks oh by the way no cvs

There are lots of people tapping now with older tubing systems and know cvs. All the realy big producers have been tapping for a month. You will want to be sure to turn on the vacuum if the sap flows even a little bit. That way you won't have sap sitting in the whole and growing bacteria.
