Is it true that they smell like maple syrup? If true, that's way too cool and just plain awesome! :D

They have a lot of maple leafs on them, but for the smell, they are made of polymer, they probably smell like syrup in plastic jugs...

But seriously, do they smell? I read if you scratch the maple on the $100, it's scented. Sounds like a great idea to me. I'm just not sure if this is fact or fiction since I can't find a source that's reliable. I checked snopes.com but all I found were a lot of funny comments about it .....
