Tapped 400 yesterday boiled today and it didn't look like a very good season. We had a very wet summer with little sun, very wet fall. wet and warm winter so far. Well I am a happy camper, the sap tested at 2.5 deg Brix, that is 34.4 to 1. I would not have bet on anything near that good. It was even better than where the sugar started last year. Syrup was very light and great aroma and flavor. 600 gal of sap so far with 240 yet to boil.
