thinking about sarting next week

im in central ohio, i heard of a guy just west of me that has tapped has 1700 out. i looked at the forecast, and the whole month of feb is lookin good for sugaring.ive really got the ich.

I tapped on Jan. 28th. I think due to trees being stand alone and not in a wooded enviroment, have only had about 7 gallons of sap from 11 trees. Nothing over the weekend. Started boiling down what I had to empty the frig. Hopefully the weather this week will get the trees running again.

I've been watchin the weather this weekend there is gonna be 2 days that are colder but then it's gonna go right back to perfect sapping weather. I'm gonna start tapping on Thursday the 9th if I'm ready

I put in 25 taps last Saturday. Boiled 35 gallons over the weekend and collected about 40 yesterday afternoon.
