Whats a good way to split a 3/4" mainline so it will run into 2 50 gal barrels at the same time?

not sure why you want to split it but the way I would do it is put in a T and a shutoff valve on both sides and neck whichever one down till I got them to flow the same.

Or what I would really do is mount one barrel 6 inches higher and put an overflow into the second barrel

or put a connector between the barrels at the bottom. You could T a drain into this.

I do what Thad suggested. I have one barrel a little lower than the the other with an "overflow tube" going to the lower one. It works well, and if 55gal. or less runs, I only have to pump out one barrel. If their connected you end up pumping from each one to collect what ran. Not that its a big deal, it just saves a little work.
