I am in need of a filter/canner and have been looking for a while. I may have to buy something new unfortunately as I can't dfind a reasonably priced used unit that will ship to me. I came across W.F.Mason's website and saw he makes some of this stuff. Has anyone had any experience with his 11 gal canning tank? Thanks.

Waysidemaple, are you able to put a flat filter in that unit somehow?

I have two of Bill's finishers- one is an 18 gal and one is 28 gallons. Love them. No filter rack on mine. Bill did some nice added features to mine in that they have two funnel creases on the bottoms that funnel the last of the syrup to the bottom mount drain. Also has a flip-up kickstand on the back which helps tilt the pan so it will fully drain. very reasonably priced to boot...

I have an the medium size, I think its the 18. I'm really impressed well built unit, and his comes with everything but the thermometer, the name brand ones you have to buy more. I have the filter rack on mine and use it. Its far better than a cone, but still not as good as a press.
And he makes them right there in the shop.

I have a custom made bottler from Bill it is about 30 gallon. Mine has a bottom drain so there is no lip at the drain. He does super work and is a really nice guy to deal with.
