It is a small pump. I have a 73 in the sugar house that works on 300 taps at 18". I would not recomend running it much more than 18". They were not designed to run long periods at high vac. Most were designed to run a few hours at 15" while you milked.

Thanks maple
I should only be running about 100 taps and running a few hours a day. I just wanted to get my feet wet in the vac proccess. I guess this will be a learning experience. plus the pump was free.

The pump was used with a bucket milker. I did get the moisture trap .

Oh ok sounds like a small bender releaser should be a good choice

Yes. i am going to check with my local farmer friend and see if he has an old releaser laying around first before making the purchase. my motto is why buy it when you can get it for free
