Starting to tap in Clark County!

We're fixing lines today but hope to be tapping by tomorrow at the latest. Didn't realize how many trees were down after that wind storm last July. Thought we'd gotten everything fixed last August. Can't wait as we've got people asking for syrup already.

We finished up yesterday now if the weather would just cooperate. Blamed hubby he said that we needed moisture I don't think he meant 7 in of snow. :lol: and now sitting here watching it snow some more and waiting for the inspector to come for cook shack. Have a good season everyone!

Don't know about anyone else but the sap is still running here. We'll probably leave our taps in for a few more weeks and wait to se what the weather does. Hope everyone else is having a good season.
