Sap is slowly running

Started tapping yesterday despite the poor prognosis for good sap flow temps. Got to start sometime!

it may not turn out too bad, should freeze sat & sun with near freezing for the remainder of the extended forcast through wed. i'm a little farther south here in scottsville with a 750' elevation. i haven't tapped yet and may not for another week. could have tapped late dec or early jan last year, this year it may be feb-mar.

I'm on the Green Cty Hart CTY line. Have had a great couple of days since it was cold Sap was running really good until this afternoon. My partner and I stopped by on Monday but you were locked up. Maybe we'll see you on Saturday

Thanks for the tour this past weekend, that is quite an operation you have. Too bad the trees didn't cooperate this year.
Would it be possible to buy one of those maple leaf jars from you? Paul and I think it would be a great dispenser for sample tastes.
