putting ceramic blanket in?

I was wondering how to hold the insulation to the side of the arch? Its an oil fired evaporater so I dont have to worry about putting bricks in, any advice?

You can drill out the rivets on the arch rail and put bolts through those holes.

I just lined mine wiht 2" ceramic. I just cut it alittle long/wide, held in place no problem. It is pretty dense stuff

can you get the ceramic blanket anywhere else besides one of the maple companys, cause there price is really high

I bought 8lb 2300 degree 2inch from the Refractory Depot on line ,you need to email or call to do a small order,it was like 70 bucks for enough to do my 2x6 twice , good luck and God Bless ,Al
