Well, yesterday finally got all the last years pan leaks soldered up. Hooked up the trailer to the tractor, threw in the buckets and started tapping. Got 50 done by dark. It still seemed pretty cold for tapping but its nice to get a good jump on compared to other years when I was way behind. Best.

Where is Washington? I used to travel the whole state as a member of the 40th Army Band, but never played a gig in Washington....glad to see you are tapped. I only have about 3 or 4 gallons collected so far on 55 taps, but this weekend should kick us off...Good luck!

Washington, VT is 9 miles north of Chelsea, and 4 miles south of East Barre. Its very close to the intersection of rt 110 and rt 302.
