leader check valves

i have leader stubby spouts and check valves for my gravity tubing, will the check valves work with gravity or not? cause i know they work with a vacuum. i sure hope they do work with gravity so i dont have to change all of them!

If you are asking if sap will come out of the tree on gravity, then yes it will. I do not think they have done as much study with gravity, but I do not think you will see the gains that you will with vac.

i knew it wouldnt give me the gains that it does with the vac, but i didnt know if it would work on gravity but now i know that it does work with gravity. thanks.

check here: http://maple.dnr.cornell.edu/ I beleive they did some research last year on cv's on gravity. I used cv's 2 years ago on my biggest bush and saw a gain... I used new plastic adapters last year and also saw a gain. I am using cv's on my vacuum lines and new adapters on all the gravity taps now.
