I purchased a masport senior w/ a 3 hp electric motor, oil drip. 1)Is this pump good for up to 2500 taps? 2) What releaser do I get? 3) Im hoping to run between four and six 1" mainline to the releaser, is this possible? This will be my first year, thanks for any feedback.

do you have access to electricity where the releaser will be?

Probably a generator but I'm trying to get a pole in by march. I did find out today that the masport senior is good for up to 3,000 taps.

The double bernard i have has 6 1 inch inlet holes. Like Tuckermtn said good for up to 3000 taps. Not sure on the pump my massport major when i bought it the guy had 2500 on it. Brad I also looked at the redmaple thinking it was you at first. Thanks Keith

I'm in peterborough. I will be going with the bernard double and was shooting for the 1" mainline to save $. Do I need anything else like a moisture trap? Also in the market for a used wood fired 2x6. Thanks for the feedback, it's great to have answers like this.
