Give me the good , bad and ugly! Have decided to purchase some new membranes, ran nf-270s last year. Anyone want to share their experience with the XLe's?
Never run over 300psi and will concentrate to around 14% maybe a little higher ;-)
Thanks
Mike
go to the upper right corner of the screen and type "xle 4040" in the search box. There is tons of info.

Thanks wiam. I am familiar with the search function. A lot of guys tried them last season for the first time, I was looking for some current thoughts.
Well I have not used mine this year yet. But when I got them back from cleanig I was told mine cleaned up better than most.

How would you rate their performance of last season? What membranes did you have prior to the xle's? What was their output per hour? Did they pass any sugar? This is what Maplewalnut, and myself, are wondering. Thanks.

Mine ran fine. I didn't detect any sugar passage. Flow rates were as advertised. The Dow website has a full 80 page manual for the membrane. Only thing I discovered is that a bigger RO than the one you have is generally a good thing, or at least match is to your evap.
