Cleaning Pans with EZ-Off

I am planning on using EZ Off to clean the underside of the pans. One question though, my pans are soldered..Will this EZ off weaken the solder if I leave it on for an hour or so before scrubbing??

I have a soldered pan and have used ez off on it with no problems.The solder is on the inside so it doesn't get touched by the cleaner,however I do not leave it on for a hour before scrubbing but if the pan is soldered on the inside which I'm sure yours is then I would think it would have no effect.I leave it on for about 15 minutes and then scrubb.I rinse VERY well with hot water both inside and out just to be safe and have done this four years and so far no issues.Hope this help you.
