If you have a little knowledge you can build one yourself. Wordpress is probably the simplest type for a novice to do. There are lots of free add ons for word press so you can sell products on line. Your cost for a domain name yourmapleco.com is about $12.00 per year. The web service host cost is approximately 7 to 15 per month. A web designer will charge you between $300 to $3000 depending upon the content and creativity required. Lots of how to videos on Wordpress on YouTube.com.

We had Mike Rusell do our company website and he is as we speak working on our maple site. His cost was very reasonoble. We found finding someone with the knowledge about how search engines and tags work was invaluble. you are asking for price I with mike you should be able to do for hundreds not thousands. Just spell out the basics and he can have you up real fast and great support. With the prefab sites and templates you don't get much and the yearly cost is pretty high. Mike has a great sence of Internet marketing and also works with the art work you send him. He is really a wealth of knowledge

Mark- our website is from godaddy, visit us at www.reefpointfarm.net It costs about $200 to start up with an online store and shopping cart. About $100/year to renew everything (SSL certificate, domain name, etc) You do need to spend some time reading their tutorials and figuring out exactly what to purchase from them, or you can pay them to design your website. Looking back, we probably should have started with a simple 5 page web site and no online store - we may go to that format as our store is not yet bringing in enough $$ to justify the extra expense.
