My wife and kids love when I barbecue venison chops with maple syrup. I usually pound them thin with a meat mallet then rub both sides with syrup. Cook them hot and fast on a grill. Sometimes I mix the syrup with a little currant jelly. There's something about a little smoky sweetness that brings out the best flavor with wild game :wink:
