Dumping station question

I've got a dumb question about a dairy dumping station. I acquired two complete(I think) dumping stations all I wanted was the big bowl part to draw off into.My question is can the rest of it be made into some kind of releaser,theres a glass jar a small ss float . I've never seen one being used so I don't know how it works.
I need to come up with small releaser for about 150-175 taps. thanks

I think what your talking about is a bender releaser should work good for that amount of taps do a search dennis h has some good pics of his setup

Probably could work, but from my experience using these on the farm they leak a lot of vac.

Those jars are traps to prevent milk from entering the vacuum pump. No releaser there.

That is what they are made for. Make sure you drain them. Very much in them could cause freezing/breaking problems.
