Tapped ~200 over the last two days. Ground is still frozen, so not much doing yet. Had a couple quarts in some of my roadside buckets this afternoon. Should be ready to boil later in the week. :D

Did you get any yet? Things have been slow here in Victor, barely enough to sugar the pans.

No, nothing much to report. With temps right around 32F the last couple days things are still frozen. Like others, I'm worried about the sudden and prolonged warm-up that's forecasted.

Collected ~300 gals in the last 24 hrs. Trees in the bush are still running good, but roadside and fieldside ones have already stopped.

Not much luck here in Victor again. Collected 80 gallons of 200 taps on ThursdayThe wind destroyed everything Friday and the sap is flowing slow today with temps about 55 and sunny after a chilly night last night? Sometimes I wonder why I do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It will be too warm till the middle of next week, the it looks too cold

Collected another 50 gals sap. Finished another 4 gallons syrup. Still have to boil down the left-over from the flue pan tonight, then clean-up.

Looking forward to some decent runs later in the week, just in time for NY maple weekend.

We're doing our last boil today. I've got 350 gals of cool sap collected earlier in the week. Tank is on the north side of the shack, and I've had it covered with blankets. Hope to get thru most or all today and start clean-up tomorrow. (Maybe I'll make some dark today. I've had lots of requests, but none made yet.)

We've made 28 gals from ~200 taps so far. Exceeded last year by 7 gals -- maybe 14 to 16 when it's all done.

Having some folks over tonight to "help" me, and to toast the end of the season. Hopefully no toasted syrup/pan will result.

For those still holding out, enjoy it till the end.

Time to go make the syrup...
