Hello everyone! I bought my house and 6 acres 3 years ago and for some reason everytime I looked at the two huge maple trees on my property I kept thinking I need to learn to tap and make some syrup...I remember thinking or reading something about it when I was a kid...and about a month ago I read an article online that a lot of folks in my county back in the day used to be Maple Sugar Folks...so maybe when I look at them trees it's the old timers ghosts telling me to do it...LOL!
Anyhow I have researched and found out what I need to do...I just need some advice on what timeframe to start tapping my trees. Don't think the old ghosts are gonna tell me that...haha!
