View Full Version : whats a "good" price for aluminum buckets?

really want to use aluminum buckets instead of galvinized,you guys scared me off from more galv last year,what is a decent price for a 2-gallon bucket used or new? want to have 100-125 more buckets lids and spiles.


on an another note was trying to update my profile and can't seem to change it what is the catch anybody else having problems?? looking for advice

for those folks looking to sell their galv buckets, they just lost alot of market with that VT regs.

There is a add in Terre de chez nous for buckets and taps and covers at $3 which is pretty good. I bought the large 3 gallon ones last year for $4 for just the bucket.

i got some off ebay. just search sap buckets. i think that they are priced fairly. there is one guy that sells them on ebay that is from N. vt. i bought 10 with lids/taps for around $65 plus shipping i think.

These folks have a ton of them, pretty cheap too. These guys are from upper Michigan. You probably can get a good volume deal. I would offer $3.00.

I wont have many "buckets" out and the ones I do I am using sap sacks.
