I have a stainless hand operated barrel pump, and the piece that threads into the bung on a barrel is stripped out. It is plastic with a thumb screw to secure the stainless pump body at the proper height.
Any one out there already replace one of these and where can you find them?
How about a better solution?

Jeff - We recently built our own barrel pump. We bought a 0.75 HP electric motor and direct coupled it to a gear pump. There's a 1" hose with a brass foot valve that goes into the drum and it'll drain all but the last few quarts before it loses its prime. We can drain a 35 gallon drum in only a few minutes. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of it.

I bought 2 of those from Bascom's and they became useless after about 5 drums each. I pump with a filter press pump now. I just bypass the filter.
