Hood Done.

We got the hood hung today. All set up with the fan and stack. we test boiled, and it worked great. Cant wait till tap time to boil sap instead of water, and can't wait because there will be visibility in the sap house this year.:lol:

Watch out! The half pint is one we started with and thought that it would be more than big enough! HA HA We've upgraded as the years went by and have now got a CDL 2 x 8 ! waited all year for the hood, I can't even see to take video with all the stea, even with windows and doors and roof vent open. Still waiting.... no snow either here.

Still have to make my hood. My Coupula works great but since my evap is off set I have issues. gonna start on it hopefully in about a week!!! hopefully I can get it done in time!!!
