i need to pump sap up from the bottom of my property to my yard or shack. a min. of about 200 feet and about a max. of 400 feet depending if i go straight to my shack or my yard. it would only be about a 20 elivation difference. i found this sump pump and was wondering if it would work for this?

No you need more pump than that. the pump your looking at is rated for 5' of head, you need a transfer pump insted.

A shallow well set up should be ok. You can get float balls that plug into an outlet and what ever pump into that for float ball control. I think Grangers has them.
