have anybody heard of a sp 30 vac pump any info would be greatly appreciated

No, I hav'nt, but I'm no expert on them either. From what I've gathered on this site, I know there are Surge (piston pump) SP 11 and 22's. The Surge Alamo's (rotary vane) are numbered higher- 30, 40, 50- not sure what all the numbers are. Have you seen it? What color is it? The SP's are blue and the Alamo's are dark green. Well, at least the ones I've seen are.

Steve is correct- the surge alamos are their rotary vane pumps. nice looking 30 on ebay right now.

I had a surge rotary not sure of the # now, but it was about 14 inches in diameter and all I could get out of it without ruining the veins was 18" of vac.

what about a sap puller, single diaphragm i have about 400 taps im 500' from sugar house but my woods are split w/a low spot in the middle any suggestions or input on this ,pro's or cons on this kind of pumping system
