I have s waterguy ro and would like to make it more automatic. I want to add high temp shut off or at the least add a inline thermometer so I can wash the system easier. Also want to put a heating element in wash tank. Where is a good place to buy these items at?

I built my own wash tank with a 20 gallon rubbermaid tote. I used plastic bulkhead fittings for return and element connections. The standard threaded water heater elements will screw into 1" pipe threads. The element is straight thread, but will seal with a good helping of teflon tape. My pickup line was higher so I just ran a line over the side but I will probably add another fitting for that. I power a relay off the pump circuit on the ro to run the heater. I have a momentary contact switch to energize the relay, then it is self energized and shuts off when the ro is shut off. I have another momentary off switch going in the circuit this year so I can turn off heater without turning off ro. I run about 12 gallons to wash and started with a 1500 watt heater. That was too small. I think I ended up with a 3500 watt. I got the element at Home Depot. Relay came from Mouser Electronics, I can find a part number if you like.
