Is their a limit as to how many ladders i can install in one system? I'll have for now 400 taps and all have to be lifted with those 6way stars. Max lift at any point is 6'. It looks like I will end up with 6 or 7 ladders. My final main line that connects to the releaser is 1'' all other mains are 3/4''. My vac pump is a Delavel 76 rated at 34cfm. Will this work? If so, how much more could i expand? The trees are endless in this area.

Sounds like you might want to explore just collecting to one low point and using a sump pump to lift the sap.
That many ladders will kill your vaccume pressure. Each vertical foot of lift really impacts your tap count and vacuume pressure.

There is a video from one of the maple research univ. that talks in depth about how sap ladders impact.

Check out the UVM Proctor Maple Research Center. Dr. Perkins is a constant visitor to this blog. You can probably look him up.

Cornell University also has a research center.

i've seen a few articles published from universities in your region:

Thanks for sharing! It's interesting because I am always advising people to treat social discussion like a good dinner party---have fun and be yourself but always be respective of others and listen as much or more than you talk. :)
