Shipping quarts

I'm probably not the first person to figure this out. But the padded, flat rate envelopes at the post office are great for qts. 4.95 anywhere in the US.
The only problem was my post office runs out of them quite often.

They make me a little nervous I like a little more padding than those. I thought about them but still go box.

How much is the postage on the box that a quart fits into?

10.50 I believe. But if its this side of Texas, there is a parcel post rate that is 7 or so.
