Boy, all this waiting for the sap to run has it's tradeoffs.

My wife is due in October! This will be #3.

Please pray for the pregnancy as we had a miscarriage in December.

Got a email from Jan woods she tapped January 28, boiled 8 times and made 160 gallons on 800-900 taps.
A lot of folks are still waiting to tap. Now it looks like maybe next Wed again!!!

You could always move to Central KY. We tapped January 13 and pulled our taps on the 29th. I would have preferred one more week, but my wife started graduate school the following week and it would have been too busy. We did 10 boils in 13 days.

It was 76 degrees here yesterday.
